I am so tired of this weight at 314 I am hurting all over, time to
make the time for me and get serious about losing weight.
I am a diabetic on insulin. Need to get my health back NOW.
No More stopping or Restarting just going to get healthy.
We are what we eat so we need to pay attention to just exactly what that is and how your body reacts. The very least you should be doing is eating fresh and whole foods. Cut out the preservatives in pre-packaged food. Keep away from the 3 whites: sugar, flour, and pasta. Our food has the means to prevent and heal disease. Our food choices can either kill us (an ever-increasing number of studies say that they are) or pull us out of the disease process, heal us and put us back on track for lifelong health. Food should be our medicine of choice, not drugs. More than half our entire population has to take at least one drug daily (usually more than one). Degenerative diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and even several forms of cancer, could almost always be prevented and in many cases reversed by eating healthy food.

You are with a Spark friend and you are never alone as I will be walking right beside you through this journey.

Never judge me unless you have walked in my shoes!

Success is very similar to driving. You'll never reach your destination if your main focus is on what's behind you. - Johnnie Ivery

Weight loss is like driving: If you ever veer off the road, just make a U-Turn and head back in the right direction.

Falling leaves, hot apple cider, football games, hoodies,
hayrides, bonfires with smores, corn mazes, boots, pumpkins,
cozy sweaters, caramel apples, nature walks, picking apples,
pumpkin patches, crisp apples, putting out fall decorations,
take a photoshoot in a leaf pile, baking pumpkin cookies.
crisp mornings & chilly nights, and pumpkin 'spice' everything.

    emoticon SNOOZE TO LOSE emoticon

We know how important sleep is to our body and our health. Now it is becoming clearer that the amount of sleep you get can directly effect your weight. Shape magazine reported on a study by the Mayo Clinic that shows how close the link between getting sleep and self-control really is. Researchers found that short changing slumber by as little as eighty minutes leads people to take in an average of five hundred forty nine more calories the next day. Even a small amount of sleep deprivation can have a large impact on your appetite. When you are tired, you have reduced self-control and eat more in hopes that it will help with energy - which is not true of course. Make it a priority to get the proper amount of sleep!
