Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Amy and I’ve been sparking since 2007. I love SparkPeople and I met some really great inspiring people/ friends here. We have some pretty good sparkteams as well. Give us a try!

How that saying goes....same ole story different day?
Well, I've lost thousands of pounds. It is just a shame its the same damn 10 to 20 pounds over and over again. Oh well here goes again..........

OMG! I have some awesome weight loss news:

Y'all something finally clicked in my brain! I started this new journey of weight loss March 2, 2020 and as of today 10/21/2020 I am down 60 pounds. Woohoo! Hip! Hip! Hoorah!

It really is a mindset thing. Energy flows where attention goes. Trust the process!
I have it all in sync now mind, nutrition and exercise.

Favorite quotes:

If I quit now, I will soon be back to where I started
and when I started, I was desperately wishing to be where I am now.
Therefore I will never give up. It is not an option.

Energy flows where attention goes.

The hardest thing is to start, but once you start, you won't want to stop.

You must tell yourself, "No matter how hard it is, or how hard it gets, I'm going to make it."
~ Les Brown

The body achieves what the mind BELIEVES.

The best 6 doctors anywhere and no one can deny it are:
Sunshine, Water, Rest, Air, Exercise and Diet.
~ Wayne Fields

Progress is progress, whether it's 1 pound or 100 pounds, it's something to be proud of.

A healthy attitude is contagious but don't wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier.
~ Tom Stoppard

Hey! How are ya!?!? I have to take a break b/c I got shin splints during Week 2!!! I found some exercises specifically for strengthening the lower legs....so I've added them into my lower body routine. Hopefully I can restart again soon! I miss it! In the meantime, I've been speedwalking & doing videos.
Looks like you're doing great with your running! Way to go! Definitely keep me posted on your progress!
    Talk to ya soon!
    Carly :)

Hey! Thanks for checking on me! I did it - and I was so freaking proud of myself. I jogged the whole time that I was supposed to, and even picked up the pace during that last minute. I really thought I was going to have a problem, but I did it.
