Introduction Text Back on the Rowdy Rebels for the 5% challenge!! I'm hoping this time I actually make my 5% goal. I need the accountability and encouragement that being on a challenge team provides. Otherwise I find that it's too easy to put off exercise and tracking as there are other things I need to tend to. I am ready to ramp up my exercise, improve my eating habits, make healthy choices, and work hard to reach my goals! Bottom line is that this time I am NOT quitting! Our bodies change as we get older, and I just have to accept that I'm not going to lose weight as quickly as I did when I was younger. As long as I keep working on healthy habits, I know I will get there eventually.

Ultimately to lose the excess weight by incorporating a healthy lifestyle.

walking Also working on adding strength training and some workout videos. Eating more fruits and vegetables. Trying to limit the unhealthy choices by not having them around the house in the first place. Joining challenges to try and keep me on track.

I'm west of Chicago, IL. Married with 2 grown children, one adorable grandson. Avid gardener. Animal lover.

Age is just a number. It's a case of mind over matter - if you don't mind, it doesn't matter!
