Introduction Text Seems like every time I start making progress, life takes another turn that throws obstacles in my path. I'm still trying to regain the stamina and functioning I lost between 2012-2018 due to med reactions. Took 4 years to figure out that it was the meds that were supposed to be helping that were actually causing most of the symptoms. During 2018-2020 my primary focus was spiritual and emotional, finding a lot of healing from childhood abuse. I am the happiest and most at peace I have ever been in my life. Yet, physically I continued to struggle and very slowly decline. Then Covid happened and all activities I was involved in were shut down, and the decline rapidly accelerated. There were times I could see a noticeable difference in functioning from one week to the next. It's gotten so bad it's painful and difficult to just walk the length of my living room. I thought with a little exercise and therapy I could gradually improve and return to normal. But I recently learned that the biggest problem is arthritis in my hips and back, along with a few other more treatable conditions. My doctor says I probably lost 2-3 years of functioning because of the shutdown. He estimates I have 1-2 years to have a hip replacement before the joint is too worn for the surgery to be successful. But I need to lose weight. Hard to do when you can't walk. I can give up and end up in a wheelchair, and nursing home waiting to die, or I can choose to fight. Just at the point I thought for the first time in my life I can really begin to live, I face more obstacles that seem insurmountable. But what I've learned in the last 3 years is that I am an overcomer. I was created to not only survive, but to thrive. And I choose to not be robbed, again. I'm not going down without a fight.

Lose weight, increase stamina and functioning, hopefully with less pain.

Increase movement even if only seconds at a time, multiple times a day. Follow the Maximized Living Eating Plan (close to keto, no sugar, no grains).

High Weight = 337 (March, 2021) Previous high = 308 (2018) ********** 1st Milestone = 299 2nd Milestone = 259 (pre med detox weight January 2017) 3rd Milestone = 239 (what I weighed when I de-railed in 2008 and again in 2010) 4th Milestone = 199 Onderland and uncharted territory! Final Milestone = 169 - 149 ? Final Goal Weight.

Enjoy slow paced computer games including match 3 and jigsaw puzzles, watching flowers bloom and plants grow, and flagging during worship. LOVE cats.
