My Goals:
UPDATED for 2012:
* Continue to adjust and refine my eating and exercise habits from 2010 and 2011.
* Make consistently better choices in my eating, exercise, and thoughts than I have in the past.
* Find success in WAKING UP for my morning workouts (gym, running, or yoga)
* Run at least one more half marathon this year, and meet or beat my time from 2011: 2:04!
* Commit more consistently to my yoga practice for peace of mind, body, and soul.
*FUTURE: To be a yoga-practicing, stroller-jogging, healthy-eating MOM who sets a great example for her kids!
My Program:
Step by step... Moderation and sustainability is key for me!
* Exercising at least 3-5 times a week.
* Healthy breakfast - every day!
* 7-8 hours of sleep per night (bedtime by 10:00 PM!)
* Fresh fruits and veggies daily! (dark leafy greens, baby!)
* High intake of natural protein whole grains, lower refined carbs and sugars
* Allow moderate consumption of clean sugars and treats-- lots of homemade goods
* NO GUILT!! If I slip-up, I move on. Regrets and guilt are wasted emotions. I work to "own my choices" be they positive or less-than-positive ones.
Personal Information:
I am a tall girl at 5'10". I am happily married, no kids (yet), and 2 fur-baby cats. I am a holistic health coach and my business is "She Lives Fit." I also teach private voice lessons. I'm a friendly person, and am always looking for new people to connect with and support in their healthy lifestyle journeys and self-expression. Leave me a note, and add me as your friend!
