My name says it all: I have to get FIT to be THIN! I pledge to add more FIT to my.
I have joined the 2021 Spring 5% Challenge. I pledge the following:
๐ I will lose 5% of my weight by May 29 (will add exact pounds at start of challenge)
๐ Daily: I will walk 40 minutes, perform squats, and do a YouTube video
๐ 3 times/week: I will do weight training using resistance bands, free weights, and circuit trying videos. I will do ...

I have joined the 2021 Spring 5% Challenge. I pledge the following:
๐ I will lose 5% of my weight by May 29 (will add exact pounds at start of challenge)
๐ Daily: I will walk 40 minutes, perform squats, and do a YouTube video
๐ 3 times/week: I will do weight training using resistance bands, free weights, and circuit trying videos. I will do gardening or other house type activity which builds muscle/burns calories.
๐ I will get 7000 steps/day
๐ I will track my food intake, as well as my exercise.
๐ I will eat 5 servings of freggies daily. There is no specific โdietโ that I am following. I am counting calories, making wise choices, and staying accountable to myself.
I use my phoneโs Samsung Health app to keep me accountable. I also use my smart watch to track my steps.
My overall goal is to lose 84 pounds. Iโve lost 49 pounds thus far (since Nov 2019).

1. No cheating
2. Weigh yourself
3. Exercise 1 hour/day

I'm a retired nurse, mother of 4 grown children and a wife of almost 40 years. I have three fur babies, all from rescue groups. I enjoy singing and am a member of two different choral groups.
