1Q84, written by Haruki Marakami. Can't tell you yet if it's even good - I just hit the 100-page mark last night!

Thank you for the title, I will seek it out. I hope you have read Hillary Mantel, her trilogy of the time of Henry VIII and his advisor Thomas Cromwell (Wolf Hall, Bring up the Bones and The Mirror and the Light) and her single book that surrounds the time of the French Revolution.(A Place of Greater Safety). Nothing spared in those books either.

Your pharmacist is certainly a gem to be passing out masks for those who need them. They don't need to be fashionable as long as they do the job.

Plus teaspoons, tweezers, and nail scissors.  Oh and if you have a family - socks.  You put 10 pairs in the machine and get five socks back - none of which match.  I figured I would outsmart the laundry devils when my children were young by purchasing a mesh bag to put in the washing machine filled with socks and the like.  I'd still only get random socks back.  I took to buying multi packs of plain black socks and plain white socks.  Ultimately you land up with one black sock and one white sock.  So you put 'em on and tell everyone "they're ying yang socks - der"!

    Thanks for reading my blog.
The NYC subway system is a great puzzle idea for me.
DH & I spent many hours on the subway. To school, to work, to shopping, to the beach.
