I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.


I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

My name is Linda, I am 77 year old, or as I say 60-17. I am married to my very best friend, and a retired farmers wife, so I have worn a verity of hat. I have 3 grown sons, none who live near, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.


Other Information:
I love to read, favorite writers are Steven King, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, James Patterson, etc. I also like crossword puzzles, zig saw puzzles, gardening, and anything outside. And of course our 2 dogs, Duke, a 3year old Great Pyreneese , and Merlin almost 2 year old Newfoundland/Great Pyreneese puppy.

My thought was "Yes, your daughter probably will not suffer much if she catches covid, but what about all the other older people come to see their grandkids play? Do you really want that on your conscience?" Iowa has never had a mask mandate or much direction about covid because 'Iowans will do the right thing' according to our governor. We are not!
