I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

hi! since you asked--I can't tell the chickies apart--at least not now emoticon
they are amber links, so they may develop pretty brown spots when they get older-- might make them easier to tell apart. I just name them because I like to.
last time I had what I thought was a brahma pullet and I named her flossie ann--she turned out to be a rooster. his name is frank and I hate him emoticon

Your Merlin will be MUCH bigger than mine was. Mine was a 35# smooth coated Border Collie. I imagine yours will hit at about 125# or so...?

I've always wanted a Pyr or a other big herd-riding dog for the livestock, but so far haven't gotten one. I did try llamas once, though.
