So after coming on sparkpeople off and on for a couple years now it seems I am now actualy ready to lose this weight. I got up to 440+. I don't know exactly how high it went but I know that my scale only goes up to 440.

But even though I have struggled all this time I think I am finally doing it for real. Wish me luck!!!

My Goals:
After being big all my life I would like to see what the other side lives like. I don't even know what it is like... yet.

I plan to make it slowly.

My Program:
I am eating 2,500 calories a day. After every 25lbs lost I will lower it by 50 calories.

Personal Information:
My name is Jason and I love my wife Tina very much! She and I both want to lose weight and are doing this together. I want to know what it is like to be fit. I just talked with my wife about why I have let myself be this big. I found out it was because I was afraid I would miss out on something if I said no to the doughnut or if I spent my lounge around time doing a work out.

I want to tell myself from now on that I am not going to miss anything. When I am old and look back on my life I want to think of the happy memories of doing things I couldn't with this weight... not all the food I ate!

Other Information:
I want to inspire you. I want to inspire others. I want to be inspired.

We all need that person who tells us we can do it. I am telling myself that. I am telling you that too.

Do it for yourself...not to feel better....do it to learn about yourself. You will learn as you go that not only do you have mental blocks but you will learn how to face them. Do this so that nothing can ever stop you at anything! It isn't about the weight. It is about living a life that has no boundries! Yes your hitting some blocks just like myself. It may slow you down but you can and will find a way to beat it!

This doesn't just go for weight. It goes for every area of your life. You may be slowed down but you can never be stopped if you keep fighting.

    Welcome back! I hope you're keeping active and eating healthy. You can do this! Like I told TBear, be wary of UNDEReating. I'm finally off my 3 month plateau. I pumped up my intake from 1200-1400 to 2000-2500 for a week and lost 2 lbs. It's just a thought since you guys tend to keep your intake as low as I was. The Sparkpeople calorie suggestions work, even if they do 'seem' high.
