Fitness Minutes: 265,226

My Goals:
New Goal for 2017: Losing the excess weight to take pressure off of my poor knees, along with becoming the best version of myself emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Finding out for every ten pounds overweight generates thirty to sixty pounds more force on my knees, I will be celebrating each ten pounds lost of weight.

Past Goal: I am setting small goals so I don't become frustrated or disappointed. My hope is to lose at least 2 lbs each month and to stay with Sparkpeople through my weight loss journey.

My Program:
My program consists of eating balanced meals each day and getting an hour of cardio in each day along with drinking more water. I also do lower body strengthening exercise every day.

Personal Information:
I am a retired school teacher from Nebraska who enjoys her family an time with my six grandchildren. I have many hobbies, including gardening, reading, golf, ancestor research, family historian (digitizing old photos and video's of our family into books and backup for other family members), and arts and crafts.

Other Information:
I believe my faith is one of my stronger qualities.

    If you would like to try something different with a little challenge...I have one for you to consider. It's a small private team that competes with others within the larger X-Weighted team. Doing various challenges. Runs for 8 weeks. Main requirement is to post weight weekly...other activities, all though very beneficial, are optional. Drop me a note stating your interest.
