I am up-dating this January 5, 2010. I fussed at myself from December 2009 until January 1 for not reaching my goal in 2009. Matter of fact I had gained 5 of those hard-to-lose pounds this past year and was not happy with myself. It was my fault for all that tasting. I think I lost the same 5 lbs most of the year and from Thanksgiving until Christmas gained 5 extra with all the tasting and "cheating" I did. I think I lost the same 5 lbs most of the year and from Thanksgiving until Christmas gained 5 extra with all the tasting and "cheating" I did. Now I am through fussing at myself and ready to start the new year with a new slate. I joined the Spark your body Bootcamp and has faithfully done everything the past 3 days and will keep on doing them the rest of the month. I am proud to say that I have already lost 1 lb since my last weigh-in in Dec so I am back on track again. Now to stay on the right track and no fudging. lol
My goal is to lose 10% of what I need to reach my goal weight which is 2.5 lbs for this month. Now it is up to me to journal my food and exercise and drink that water. Hard to believe that water has become my favorite beverage now.
Married with 3 children and 6 granddaughters. A housewife, active in exercise class and beginner quilting projects. Love dogs. Like to go fishing.
I joined TOPS August 2007 and found SP in October but consider my August weight as my starting weight. I want to be able to buy clothes, not have them made to fit my body. I have never been litte except when I was born. I want to feel better and be able to play with the kids. I used to be able to with my wieght but the older you get, the more the knees and other body parts hurt when you are over-active.
I have been on this journey for 9 months now and have lost 32.5 lbs and it is wonderful. I now have clothes that are too big, not too tight. I can cut my toenails--so simple a task but not one that I could do for quite a few years now. I can walk longer than a mile at one time and still be able to talk and not fell like I am going to pass out. Also my knees to not hurt as bad when I do walk over 1 mile. Can't wait to see how things to in the next 8 months. Hopefully, I will reach my goal by Christmas. It will be ok if I don't. It took a long time to get to my top weight and the longer it takes me to get down to my goal weight, maybe, I won't have tooooooo much flabby skin. It will be ok if I do but I don't really want it. Am exercising to help it shrink or whatever you call it when it tightens up so doesn't hang

I am starting the Swimsuit Bootcamp today and hope to lose 5 lbs this month. I did the bootcamp in January and did not lose but did firm up. I am really having problems getting these last pounds off and reaching my goal and hope that this different exercise program will start my fat-burning and weight losing again. I don't think it will hurt it at all.

My Goals:
I want to lose 68 lbs. but will be happy with 48 lbs. I want to be able to buy clothes that fit. Also I want to be around for our 3 children and 6 granddaughters.
My Program:
I joined TOPS in 8/07 at 225.5 so I have lost 24.5 lbs. since then. I found SP in October and decided that it would help me too. I keep a food journal and count calories and WW points. I tried the WW program and it did great for a while but it was very impersonal and really hurt the budget. I do love TOPS as we have fun. SP is fun too.
