It's All About Lifestyle!


I have come to the realization that I am always trying to please someone else... maybe someone at work, or a family member. Its so engrained in my personality. And so i never seem to find time for me....but the need is great! I need to begin this new adventure into learning more about Lori and the thin person within.

Fitness Minutes: 4,017

My Goals:
Exercise each by at least stretching or working on exercise ball.

Eat a breakfast each day.

Maintain lower BG readings.

Follow a Mediterranean diet lifestyle

My Program:
 I have been on a weight-loss program through a local clinic, that uses HMR meal replacements. I was initially very successful. Now however, I am really struggling to maintain such a program that is so limiting. So I am working on moving to a Mediterranean Diet lifestyle for both myself and my husband.

    Chamblee, that's so close. I am a professor at Mercer. Thanks for the heads up on the New Balance store. I'm from Oregon, and I used to get my shoes at the Nike Employee store. Miss that. Do you know of any stores that carry dress or work shoes in wide sizes or shoes with a larger toe box, but still look stylish? Thanks again for the hint on the New Balance store.

    Hi Lori!

    I hope you find a good pair of shoes too. I didn't realize you lived in Georgia until I looked at your page, I live in Chamblee! l go to the New Balance store in Norcross, It's on Peachtree Parkway in the Forum. The guys there are super sweet and very helpful. I have really hard to fit feet and they carry my size. They go out of their way to help me and they also let me take the shoes home and wear them-even outside. I just returned a pair that I had for a month, no questions asked. These new shoes are perfect! I'm so glad I found them.
