Introduction Text I am taking this time to reflect on my past to change my present and give me hope for the future. I started this journey in 2001 at 190. I am reaching my goal of health and happiness. ~~~~~ Goose I helped my mother go into the light A place of comfort and no more pain She saw her husband's outstretched arms Welcoming her into Heaven's Gate Sugar was there barking hello's As well as her mom and dad I held her lovingly and talked about All that she was going to see I didn't cry as I wanted no tears But sweet words about our life I told her she was my best friend And the love of my life I thanked her for giving me life And sharing her years with me She may be gone out of sight But lives with me still My heart may ache for a little while But there she will abide ~~~~~ Remembering With Love December 9. 2009 A year gone by Where did it go The hours slipped by I miss you so Your never too far You're in my heart I think of you daily At night I pray I know you are happy My prayers answered Look down from above Wipe my tears away I'll look to the heavens Knowing you're there Watching, loving, caring Your first year away ~~~~~ A New Year A new year has dawned It holds hopes and dreams There is comfort in every day That our best is yet to be We learn as we go And take on new roles We will hold our head high As we move throughout the days The months go by quickly We strive not for perfection But the knowledge that is gained From trial and errors Soon it is Spring A renewal of birth We look to the sky For inspiration anew Time is our friend It is on our side A new year has dawned How happy am I ~~~~~ My Mirror When I look into the mirror I see many things depending on the day. Somedays I see the young girl haunted by her past full of the cruel words her sister brainwashed her with. I see fat and ugly and all the things she said I wouldn't be. Otherdays, which are more frequent, I see an "old" woman and it makes me laugh. Yesterday I saw a wife trying her best to help herself and her husband lose weight and become healthy by adopting a new lifestyle. Today I saw a sad, tearful daughter that has lost her mother through death. Tomorrow will be left up to me. ~~~~~ Heaven's Heart I hold a heart in my mind It is drawn with loving hands It represents the years gone by And all the love there is It is larger than life in my minds eye With lace all around It simple says these words My love will never end ~~~~~ Happy Birthday, Daddy I remember how happy you were When we took you back home The bees, the ticket, the house And so much more Those were the days That filled us with joy To see the states and stop for postcards You would laugh at us for doing this But we would stop at every gas station And never send a soul Do you remember the Chinese restaurant When we took it over No one was there but hungry customers and the cook Once more I donned the role And served hot coffee to all What fun we had on your birthdays Two of the best days of the year ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy Mother's Day, Mom Mother's Day comes but once a year Mine is now celebrated in my heart I look to Heaven and wish her hello Each day of the year She is dear to me now as before I shed a tear or two A mother's love is never far I feel it everywhere I go When flowers bloom or I see a butterfly near Mom has sent her hello's Mom, I miss you and love you still And I always will Today is special for me you know All my days are I celebrate today with you in mind Even though you are not here ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I know that I should make some goals that will give me reasons to do well and to become the best me that I can. So, I shall state that my goal will be to eat healthy and live life to my best ability.

To meet my goals I shall take an active part in making the right food choices. I shall make sure that I don''t emotionally injure anyone that I love and care about. I shall think before I speak.

I am from Colorful Colorado where I live with my husband, Lou and our puppy, Charley Cooper. My darling mom died on December 9, 2008 at 5:55 in the morning three days before her 82 birthday in my arms. She was granted 4 wishes. One that she would die on an odd numbered day, that she would die on a snowy day, that she would die in December before Christmas her favorite time of the year, and that she would die peacefully. I am so happy that she got her wishes. Daughter dear, I am always with you. MoonStarr/StarrMoon, mom I will miss you. We enjoyed Mahjong, Neopets, POGO and Tai-Chi.
