Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

"You must do the thing you think you cannot do." Eleanor Roosevelt

"I'd rather cheat once a month than fall off the bandwagon and overeat everyday!" - Lynz on her Spark Montana blog

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail." Confucius

Baby steps. Leaping in wears you out. Then you quit. ~Indygirl

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

    Wouldn't it be wonderful
    If every day we're living
We stopped to count our blessings
    Like we do on Thanksgiving?
If every day we took the time
    For gratefully expressing
    Our thankfulness for every joy
    And every little blessing...
    Wouldn't it be wonderful
    If we would just remember
    Gratitude's a year-round thing
    Not only for November!

Wishing you many blessings to count and many joys to remember
this Thanksgiving Day and all the days that follow! Your support and
encouragement have been a real blessing in my journey!

Thank you for mentioning the Historical Society..........I have tin types and other
old photos...........I also have a hand pieced quilt I am going to donate to the quilt
    museum in Paducah, Kentucky..............

Neither of my children are interested in these items, but they are quite a bit over a 125....

I appreciate that, it had not occurred to me...

I'm using a Red Heart yarn that is so soft and full of color changes. I don't have the label with me though to tell you what its called. I found it at Hobby Lobby. I've never seen so many color changes in a cake of yarn before and they aren't sudden so it blends super well.

We go to Roundup for a vet. We won't be able to tell whether the visit went well or not for 48 hours. She got 4 different injections and saline because she was dehydrated.
