I am 68. My DH passed on 4-19 of last year after 16 years. I also lost two fur babies within a week of each other. Faith has brought me thru. I have 4 dogs, a cat. With Gods Grace, I will prevail. Sami has been a treasure to me. She keeps me going. We are always Playing ball and walking. She turned 1 year old a couple weeks ago. I joined SP July 21, 2014 and lost 37 pounds in the first six months by eating healthy and exercising. Over the next two years, I went through a gain/loss period. I gained all but 10 pounds back. I began the Ketogenic diet on September 25, 2017. I have currently lost a total of 50 pounds and have now met my ultimate goal weight. This next journey will be an exciting time. Maintenance is an adjustment not to mention very challenging. One thing a person needs is to use all the skills learned to work thru the bumps of this journey. My workouts consist of Cardio 5 days a week. Core exercises with coach Nichole and/or Leslie Sansone 2 or 3 times a week. Strength Training with Coach Nicole and/or Leslie Sansone 2 or 3 times a week. I could not have done this without the help of my SparkFriends and SparkCoaches. SparkOn!!! WE CAN DO THIS!! Let's Go Daisies!!!

My Goals:
1. Praise God Always
2. Measure and track everything I eat.
3. Walk at least 8,000 steps plus every day.
4. Exercise at least 30 minutes per day (in 10 min. increments).
5. Drink at least 8 to 12 glasses of water every day.
6. Keep exercises fun.
7. Get at least 7 hours sleep at night
8. Try new recipes or revamp old ones
9. No Soda.
10. Cut sugar and processed foods out!

My Program:
My diet is to eat within 1200 to 1500 calories every day, utilizing recipes in Ketogenic Diet book, Low Cal recipes and some online sites. It's a low carb, high fat, low sugar and moderate protein plan.
I drink 8 to 12 glasses of water every day.
I have cut out sugar.
I eat a low carb diet.

My Exercise program consists of:
Cardio 5 days a week. M - F.
Core exercises with coach Nichole and/or Leslie Sansone 2 or 3 times a week.
Strength Training with Coach Nicole and/or Leslie Sansone 2 or 3 times a week.
My Wii Routine every morning to start my day!

Personal Information:
I Love God, reading the Bible, riding my horse, Charlie Brown, I love my fur babies, bluegrass gospel music, playing my Ukulele and singing, and working out.

7/10/18 Today I weighed 121.9#. I will not try to lose any more weight, but if I do..that's okay too. I am working on toning now.
4/7/18 Today I weighed 134#.

3/7/15 Today I am starting another chapter. I am starting Maintenance. My weight today is 134.7. This is going to be a great journey, I can feel it! :D

    Thank you Sue! However, you do not want to see how bad it was.. Unless, of course, you had tissues to wipe the tears from laughing! LOL I nearly fell over on my head, uh er back, er whatever I would have landed on!! LOL I am not a contortionist by any means. That exercise is just not for me! Jeez, I have trouble with getting the little red dot in the center when it's measuring my balance during weighing in! LOL I was doing the Advanced step one yesterday and during the side step, well, they didn't side step and went back and I side stepped on the edge of the board and nearly fell into my computer! My balance is really terrible sometimes. But I will not quit, no matter what! LOL I can only get better because I sure can't get any worse! :)
