Introduction Text I'm 63 years old. This summer I walked into my gym to try to get started again on an exercise program, and found the gym was under new owners who are reenergizing the place. They were offering individual trainers, group classes, etc. I signed up for the trainer. Expensive? Yes. Not any different though than my out of pocket medical expenses last year for a broken ankle and torn leg muscles. The thing is...I want to be strong. I want to be healthy. I need to lose weight but I want to do it the right way. I don't want to lose alot of muscle in the process of losing weight. With the balance of cadio and resistance training, I am on my way. My trainer encouraged me to get an ap to record my diet and exercise. I'd never joined a group online before and this site has really helped. My diet had been changing for the better for a time. I started with just cutting down on deep fried foods. Then, I attacked sugar. Now, my focus since joining this site is to track calories and make sure the diet is balanced.
