"This too shall pass."

I started out 2020 ripping through every goal I set.... then out of nowhere my health failed..... and my 2021 started with major reconstructive surgery on my skull, spine, and neck.

So, this is now a recovery journey... because I need to be good to my body in-order to heal properly and get back to where I want to be.

My goal right now is 220 by September 2021, but we'll take it a day at a time.

My Goals:
I am recovering.
I am still strong and I am still able.... but I need to take time to let my body heal from the trauma of surgery.
I have a main goal of hitting below 200 by January 2022.
I want to get back to the gym 3-4 days a week.
I want to earn at least 3 more YESFIT challenge coins by the end of the year, with at least one of those being 100 miles or more.
I want to feel better and keep myself healthy by changing small habits one at a time.


My Program:
Slow and steady. I'm 2 weeks post surgery today. So my goals right now are low, 3500 steps per day is my over all goal. I get to start PT in about 4 weeks.... which will add the next level of treatment. After I clear PT, I'll be able to hopefully start working out at the Gym again and I'm looking into some aquatic programs.... I'm eating balanced and healthy and not really restricting any macros as they are all useful in the healing process.



Personal Information:
I'm a happily married (Almost 11 years) mother of four beautiful children (13, 10, 4, 2). I'm a substance abuse counselor for women and mothers at high risk. I love my industry and the lives I get to help.

    Might I suggest if you are going to weigh yourself every day that on one day each week you add all your weights up, divide by 7, and then that is your trending weight for the week. Then you weigh but disregard your weight, until your average day, and then you see what the trend is week to week. That way daily successes and disappointments don't derail you. You can do it!
