Hi! I'm Rachel, a 32-year-old in central New Jersey. I currently live with my husband and two stepsons. We would like to have a baby of our own, so I'm trying to get healthy! My starting weight is 260 lbs., the heaviest I've ever been in my life. My doctor wants me to be below 200 lbs. before trying to get pregnant. I was also diagnosed with celiac disease in 2017 and have transitioned to eating gluten free. Managing this disease is also a huge part of my new healthy lifestyle!

My Goals:
- Finish rough draft of my musical by 11/1/20
- Lose 30 lbs. by 11/1/20
- Lose 60 lbs. by 5/1/21
- Apply to graduate school by 5/1/20
- Run a 5K by 7/1/21

My Program:
- Drink 32 oz. of water/day
- Exercise 10+ minutes per day
- Collect a motivational picture daily
- Take medication and vitamins daily
- Get 8 hours of sleep every night
- Follow the C25K program, repeating each week 4x
- Track calories daily, aiming for about 2,000
- Weigh in weekly and take measurements monthly

Personal Information:
I work as a freelance musician, teaching private voice and piano lessons, and working at churches and theatres. I also work part time at my (step)son's elementary school. I participate in community theatre and other volunteer arts organizations. Our family lives on a small homestead, where we have dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. I also love to read and log about 50 books every year.
