I'm changing my goals gain, to make them something difficult but attainable. And rather than rewards, I'm adding DATES. I'm fastidious and time-oriented, so if I tell myself I need to have something done by a certain time, it will be DONE by then.

The biggest obstacle to my goals is learning to EAT LESS. Even when I increase my exercise, I tend not to decrease my caloric intake. I want to change my lifestyle so that I stop by bad habit of BOREDOM eating.

I want to change my body and my health for MYSELF. I'm tired of not getting involved in fun activities on-campus (capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, charitable 5Ks) because I'm too embarrassed for people to know how out of shape I am. Getting attention is definitely a motivator, but not the biggest one. I want to be thin to prove to myself that I'm more than just the funny fat girl and to prove to my sister that she can lose weight, too.

If anyone's looking for a buddy, contact me! The most difficult part of all of this is feeling overwhelmed by the message boards and all of the information.

My Program:
Walking at least half an hour a day, reducing calories to 1200 and increasing intake of fruits, veggies, and water. Utilizing the new athletic center on campus until I head abroad.

Personal Information:
I'm a 21-year old college student who needs to start being accountable for her weight. I think I'm a pretty awesome person (and others seem to think so as well!), but my poor health and weight don't make me feel awesome all the time.
