I love where I live.
I'm more muscled up than either of these gals, but it's the right idea.

Once more, with feeling....

Okay, so ... new introduction...
How I got from a decade ago, of normal weight and muscled up, to here - 50 pounds overweight and not nearly as strong - is in the blogs if you're really interested, or you could sparkmail me and I'll tell you all the gory details. Trust me, it's not that intriguing or unusual.
What's going to be interesting is the getting back to normal weight and muscled up part.
I lost 30 (at one point I was 80 over) a few years ago, and then quit losing for a really dumb reason. Ever since then, I've lost a few here, gained a few there, generally wandering around, gazing at the sites but not really getting anywhere except more and more stuck. Not just with my weight and fitness, but with my life in general.
Time to become unstuck and move forward. The women in my family routinely live well into their nineties, so unless I want to set a new precedent by dying young or else simply be bored stupid for the next 30 or 40 years, I'd better get a move on, literally and figuratively.
Turn it up.

Favorite movie...probably The Lion in WInter.
Favorite book - Pilgrim at Tinker Creek...although I read anything and everything. I try to stay in the New Materials at the library, because once I go back in the stacks, I'm gone.
-'Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?' said Piglet 'Supposing it didn't,' said Pooh. After careful thought, Piglet was comforted by this.

Gilda Radnor: I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.
There's nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and open a vein.
