The new year has started and if you have not solidified your New Year’s resolutions regarding healthy living yet, it’s not too late! Keep in mind that the first two weeks are the hardest. When you change your eating or start an exercise program, it takes your body a while - - usually about two weeks to adjust to the new routine. Starting or changing your exercise program may cause your muscles to be sore at first and it may zap your energy temporarily, but don’t give in, it will get better. Changing your eating by cutting out low nutritional, calorie dense foods and replacing them with healthy, low calorie fruit and vegetables may leave you a little hungry at first, but hang in there, your body will adjust in time. Remember that you are not making temporary changes - - you are making lifestyle changes that will pay off greatly now and in the years to come!
