Conscious Eating Tip of the Day

Friday, October 23, 2009

Ground your energy.

Visualize your energy moving from your head down through your spine, shoulders, torso, arms, and legs, connecting you in one long, energetic stream from the heavens above to the earth below. Enjoy that sense of flow and connection. Breathe.

I really need to remember this...breathe..I always breathe in the easiest most shallow way...I need to get back to my Yoga..fell by the wayside when I got so heavy I felt like a whale out of water in the class...but now that I'm losing weight I will again participate..it is a wonderful movement and it really accentuates what I need to do the most....breathe..thanks for this post!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Breathing...something that should be so simple and yet we often forget to breath properly.
    Thanks for the reminder.

I always thought being told to breathe was silly advice. I mean - How could you forget? ...then I took a belly dancing class, and as we were working on learning isolations, the teacher made that silly statement, "Breathe...", and I realized I hadn't been! Amazing!

Thanks - great advice - really!
