Wonderful Wednesday

Time for some wonderful news. We became the proud great grandparents to a little baby girl, Natalie Claire this evening at 6:10. She weighed in at 8 lb 2 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Big sister Mackenzie is quite thrilled to have a baby sister!!!
Now we have two reasons to head north in a few weeks. We want to see the new baby and go to encourage Jeremy in his recovery. He has had the feeding tube removed today. They hope to do more surgery-another skin graft-next week if the infection is gone. He is still having to be sedated as he gets very agitated. Praying that things improve over the coming week. Long term they are starting to talk about a specialized rehab facility for him once he is well enough to leave the hospital.
