Update on Jeremy

Finally some good news to report that is meaningful, at least to the family. They did a 2nd surgery a week ago to do more skin graft and 85% of that has taken. His body is physically healing and most of his cuts are healed. However, he has developed a blood clot in his leg so they have upped his coumadin level for that - they figure this has developed because of all the lying in bed over the past 3 weeks.
This evening they decided he has improved enough that he has been moved to an intensive rehab facility that specializes in brain trauma victims. He will start intensive therapy tomorrow. So far they have him set up for 6 sessions a day of different types of therapy. How long he will be here depends on how he does. They will do an evaluation after the first week and hopefully we will know more then.
He is starting to recognize family members on a consistent basis now which is a good thing. His wife has finally started going home to spend time with their young sons and now it is up to the Man Upstairs to bring him the rest of the way back.
Again, thank you everyone for all the prayers. I am certain that is why he has progressed this far and that is what is going to get him the rest of the way there.
