Labor Day

Question, if one is retired, do we still get to celebrate Labor Day??? Of course, we do, we worked all our lives so we could relax, ha ha!
I hope all of you are taking the time this weekend to be thankful if you have a job. If not, I pray you soon find one.
I hope everyone has had time to get in some exercise and enjoy a little R&R. We all need to recharge our batteries, even those of us who don't work a 9 to 5 job. I woke up this morning and it was 8:58, I never sleep past 7 so I guess I must have needed it. When I worked, I never had to set the alarm, was always awake by 5 am. Guess my body is taking back some of the sleep it often misses even these days.
Tomorrow we are going to a community dinner and I am looking forward to that. I will help in the kitchen so that will keep me busy in the afternoon and I will cook in the morning.
Enjoy life, we are all here for only a little while.
