The Maine Idea

Back from another sailing adventure in Maine. Hard to be back at work. Sailing beats reality every time. The part I like the best is WORKING instead of just EXERCISING. I loved heaving the ropes and pumping the water and climbing up and down to help with the sails. I loved it. It felt great and I am glad that I have been doing strength training and cardio to be in better shape to crew. When I close my eyes, I can feel the "rock and roll" -- what fun! Trouble is, it is over for the season now. I have to try hard to find a substitute for the winter. I do love the wind-in-your-hair, sun-in-your-face thing!
