Short & Sweet

Wednesday, November 03, 2010

Today has been a down day-trying to get back to normal after nearly 4 days of company. Hubby hasn't really felt good since our trip north the 1st of Oct and I think I might be getting it-hope not!
We went to breakfast this morning with our usual group-had 20 come today. It is a nice break to get together and visit for an hour or so. I wasn't really hungry and didn't eat all my omlet and only 1 slice of toast so not real bad on eating.
Hubby had to go for more bloodwork today for the oncologist. He had to go yesterday for the nephrologist and we were just to the oncologist last week so pretty soon he is going to just put in a spout, or so he jokes. I am hoping they can get some of this figured out soon.
He came home and went to bed and slept the better part of the day and evening. I can't seem to get him moving or even to stay awake for any length of time. Not a warm and fuzzy feeling.
I have puttered around the house, finally got caught up on reading the newspapers for the past few days and even read a magazine. Of course, I have made several trips over to check on Dad. Told him I wasn't lingering as I didn't want to expose him if I was coming down with something and he wasn't anxious to be exposed.
Hoping if I get to bed at a decent hour tonite and get 8 hours of sleep I will feel better tomorrow.
Nite all.
