Day of the Toe

I happen to be married to a man who seems to like pain. He had an ingrown toenail and decided to take care of it himself. Well, needless to say, it became infected and after several days of soaking, he was finally convinced togo to the podiatrist.
Today has been a really full day-my brother and his granddaughter were coming to visit, he managed to get worked into the schedule at the podiatrist, and I was trying to cook for our lunch! I got up early to make a cake and put on a roast and off we went to the dr before 10. Well, they were packed and about 11:30 I left him to sit in the dr's office and I came home to check on the roast. Hubby finally called for me to pick him up at 12:30. What a day.
Dr told him his toe was ready to pop it was so infected. Now we have to do bandage changes for the next week and hopefully it will heal quickly.
What a day.
