Today it felt soooo good to get outside and work in my yard. I haven't been able to do that in over 2 weeks and things really needed some work. I missed the last really nice weather as that was the days we were baking our Christmas cookies. I am a little sore tonite as it is so easy to get "soft" when you don't use those muscles for a couple of weeks. I stay busy every day and do a lot of walking, but it isn't the bending, stooping, lifting, etc that I do when I get out in the yard. I guess I am going to have to add more of that this winter while I am indoors.
I keep saying just 10 more days and we will be thru the holidays and so far I haven't gained but I also haven't lost any weight either, but my goal was just to hold steady so I have made it for 3 weeks. I am entering the home stretch so trying to really watch what I eat. With the crazy schedule we have been on some days I only get 2 meals so trying to eat fruit to make up the difference and it is working.
I hope all of you are managing your eating thru the holidays. It is certainly a challenge with so many temptations around us. Today I sent hubby with the rest of the cake left from company on Mon and now it is out of the house-the pool players got to enjoy it!
I hope each of you have a way to get rid of your temptations too.
