Thank goodness 2010 is leaving..Goodby already!

2010 was NOT a good year. Fractured my arm in May one day before my husband came home from a 5 month deployment so our summer was spent going to PT. Then he had to have surgery before he could go back to sea. Holidays & our birthdays were spent apart. My youngest sister went into hospice and is now in clinical trials. Wow. Next year will be better, won't it??

On the "up side", I believe my arm is actually stronger now and I'm back to full weight-bearing on it during yoga & strength exercises. Even with a plate in my arm, I didn't set off any alarms at the airports when I went to visit my DS in FL. My sister actually had a very nice Christmas with her DD in UT even tho she was supposed to be failing rapidly. She seems to be beating some predictions. I have a comfortable roof over my head, food in my frig., and the best friends in the world so with that, I will look ahead to 2011 with hope.
