Was in so much pain on the bus this morning, I counted down on the bus that there are roughly 48 days left until my surgery. I am going today for the next step-the first having gotten the dental clearance, but today is to go get an ultrasound of my legs...

Sorry to hear you're having so much pain. I'll be counting down the days with you. I've got my surgery on 5th April, so that's 74 days time.... I'll then be off for betwwen 6 weeks and 5 months recuperating. We'll both be doing a happy jig at the same time!! 3655 days ago

Awww ... sorry to hear your knee is causing you so much pain. Been there, done that!
My right knee replacement is now 3 yrs. old. I will not say it is a piece of cake -- LOTS of work after surgery doing the rehab -- but it is sooooo worth it. I do not have a speck of trouble or pain in my replaced knee now. I agree with the advice to absolutely keep up with the rehab exercises. That is the key IMHO to a successful surgery. It is well worth the effort. 3 yrs. later I still do those exercises to keep my legs strong.
Actually I was supposed to have my LEFT knee done at some point, as well. BUT since I have lost lots of weight that knee doesn't even have pain now! I DO see that I will have to have it replaced down the road, but definitely far into my future if I can help it!
