Small Victory #17

Victory: When I asked for feedback from SP on my nutrition tracking the other day, instead of the usual “tsk tsk, a diet entirely of cake may not help you meet your nutrition goals,” I saw a caution about fiber intake. As in, they thought I might be getting too much. TOO. MUCH. FIBER.
I am pretty sure there have been weeks at a time when the only fiber intake I had was from inadvertently swallowing a tuft of upholstery fuzz after making a face plant on the couch.
That is why getting the “Dood, what’s with all the fiber? SETTLE DOWN!” feedback on my daily nutrition report was such a victory for me. I went from no fiber *at all* right to oh-my-GOD-I-personally-have-di
scovered-gastrointestinal-
Drano.
I felt like I should hold a small golden trophy shaped like a wheat berry and say, "You think I eat enough fiber! You really, really, think I eat enough fiber!
I'd like to thank the SparkPeople folks and all those who helped make this award possible: Bob and his Red Mill for the oat bran, Bubba for the whole wheat bagels, and the produce department at Sunflower Market for the fruits and vegetables too numerous to name--you know who you are. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you."
Savoring every victory? Doin' it pretty good, actually.
