A Little This & That

Haven't posted on here for a few days so will do a quick update.
Dear hubby is down to just 5 more sessions of radiation-woo hoo. He can hardly wait to get done. We took Abbie with us today and got to show her off to the office staff. They are very accomodating in there. They have made an unpleasant situation very pleasant.
Our dear Karen is in the hospital with blood clots-she has them in her leg and lung. She had to see the dr yesterday and he sent her straight to the hospital. Things just don't get any better for her. They are trying to find a way to get her home to Massachusettes as she would like to go there to be with her family at the end and that is understandable. Friends here are trying to see if Angel Flight would be a way to get her back up there. We are all doing all we can to make things as easy as possible for her and Tommy.
Our new to us mh had to go back to the shop on Monday. It will remain there for about a week. They had to order a new lock for our side entry door as it would not lock and there is a problem with the furnace-they installed a new blower and thermostat and something isn't right as over the cold weekend, we could not get the blower to shut off so they are working on that too. Nothing major, but for now we are on hold!
This afternoon we went our with 9 friends for a nice Valentine's Dinner at Ruby Tuesday. I had called yesterday to make reservations and certainly was glad of that. We arrived at 4 and got right in and by the time we left a little before 6, there was a 40 min wait so we did that right.
