Sad News

Just a short little note to tell all of you who have been following Karen's journey that she went home to be with the Lord about 5 this morning. No more pain and suffering for her here on earth.
It is just unbelievable how fast this has happened but I think God didn't want Karen to linger and suffer too long so he took his earthly angel home today.
Please keep her family in your prayers, she was the glue for all of them and they are going to need God's help to go on and adjust to this loss.


I am sorry I couldn't quickly find a better picture, this was my at Dad's 100th birthday party last Sept. Karen is in the background, 2nd from the right.

    Karen's work here was done and God took his beautiful angel home to prevent her from more suffering and pain. Praying for you, Tommy and her family that God will give each of you the peace, comfort and understanding that you need to help in your grief.     You don't know me, nor I you - I came across a comment you'd written somewhere else - but, first, you have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your friend. What I came by to tell you was that you are so right about no guarantees on tomorrow. We make all these plans about what we're going to be doing - with people, with money, with our lives - and then we discover that life can turn on a dime. Its a hard lesson, but one way to make it better is, as you said, to be sure our loved ones know we love them, and to cherish every day we have.
