Bittersweet Enjoyment

We have had a good run and arrived safely at our campground today. We are having a great time and taking pics so will be posting them later on. It is nice to be able to get away and enjoy some time away from home but as the title says, it is bittersweet knowing we could not have done this if dad were still alive.
We noticed one of our pineapples has a fruit on it before we left and our first thought for DH & I both was dad will be excited to know that as he was wanting to see one bear fruit and that didn't happen. It brought some tears to my eyes for sure.
We are having some little blips but doing ok on our maiden voyage. Will tell more later when we get home.
