DH's UPDATE

Today Ashley had to go for another post-op check-up. Wonderful news--he can start going some without the back brace and can drive!! That is the best news in the world to me as he does not like my driving and if it continued much longer, we just might have a lulu of a fight. lol Supposedly I scare him and he gets on my nerves--not a good combination. Dr. Gee was very pleased with how things are going and the x-ray pictures show that all is well. Ashley should be without the brace by the end of 4 weeks. He is so excited to be able to walk in the house without it but will wear it when walking in the yard or at the farm. He still won't be riding the lawn mower or tractor until after his next appointment.
That is ok with me.

I am going to TOPS convention the end of this month and was worried about leaving him a-foot for 3 days but now that he will be able to drive, no worry on that front. He will be able to go to the farm or get a newspaper without having to get a driver. It will help my feelings too as I won't feel so guilty about leaving him to go to exercise class, meet with girl friends, TOPS meetings, etc. He can start doing his things now too.

Things are going pretty good for me. I am behind in my thank-yous but will get to them. Right now I just can't deal with them. I do want to thank everyone for the wonderful notes (I have read them). (((HUGS))) big time to all.
