Creative Writing: BLC 20

This is a bit hard because I am traveling and writing on an iPad. But, I'll get a plan posted and then tweak it if I have to when I have a bit more time.

12-week plan

Exercise: just bought ChaLEAN Extreme from Beachbody Fitness. I plan to start the program on Monday, September 24th and follow it for 90 days straight. I'll supplement with my usual outdoor cycling and hiking. I plan to build muscle which will hopefully help rev up my metabolism.

Food: I'll continue to track my food and follow a moderate plan that includes plenty of protein, lots of fruits and vegetables, lean dairy and limited starches. I'll try to incorporate the idea of eating six small meals per day without going over my calorie range.

Rewards: going shopping in my own closet will be a reward as well as a few new pieces as I fit into smaller sizes. I'll do things like pedicures and manicures for each five pounds lost.

Goal: a size 6. What weight that is is unknown. I'd rather be fit and trim at a slightly higher weight than be a low weight with no muscle tone. I think 120-125 is still a realistic goal for my height. So that means 15 to 20 pounds of fat gone! It may not all happen in a single round of BLC but I think 8-10 pounds lost is reasonable.

Mindset: I need to be patient. I need to keep doing the right things day after day. I would like to figure out how to stay on track when traveling and to plan ahead better. I do well with most meals but when I get busy I don't eat, which sets me up for a potential disaster when I do get a chance to eat. Planning ahead can solve that. I just need to do it!
