Start of New Phase!!!

Well, not only did we sell the rv, but today we traded in our van! It acted up yesterday evening as we were coming home from friends - the transmission slipped-we just sat there momentarily-scary on a busy 4 lane highway!! Today we called our mechanic about it and he gave us an estimate and then we called Honda and they were over twice as much and it was more than blue book value!!!! Well, that spurred us to go looking at cars today and now we have a Prius-not a brand new one-this is a 2010 but had all the features we were wanting. We both feel a lot better tonite knowing we don't have to worry about the transmission failing. We already knew we had to put brakes on it at our next oil change.
With the price of gas rising, we figured we should go for something that gets really good mileage and this car averaged 49.8 for it's previous owner overall. The information was all stored in the computer! I will be spending the next month trying to learn all about it.
We are already thinking about a road trip!! So this is the start of moving into the next phase of our lives.
