Spark Solution Week 1

I decided to try the Spark Solution because I was at a point where everything I was trying didn't seem to be working. I was exercising, drinking my water, I THOUGHT I was eating healthy, except for maybe on weekends, but I wasn't going anywhere. So when I saw the ad for The Spark Solution book, I thought sounds good & I'd been wanting to get the cookbook too, so I ordered them both.
The first couple of days, nothing really changed, but I thought I'm eating healthier & the recipes are good so I keep going. Then something awesome started happening, everyday after that I was down either a pound or a half pound. Not only that, I noticed that I wasn't having the food cravings that I normally have. I also was sleeping better & waking up without that groggy feeling. My energy levels are much improved. I've lost a total of 4.5 lbs.
I like the recipes the most about this program and the fact that they give you options for things that you might not have or like. It's brought me out of the rut of cooking the same things all the time too.
I 've like a lot of the food so it's hard to pick a favorite, but since I was having a problem with breakfast variety, I'll pick the Spinach-Feta Breakfast Wrap. They were super easy & super delicious!! Yum!
The tip that I like the best this week was the one from Amy, "Don't expect everything immediately. Celebrate little steps because many little steps cover a great distance."
My goal for this next week is just to keep on with the program following it as close as I can, because it's working!
