Tonight's low-carb dinner: Sashimi

Hello again, little blog. :)

I'm really going to try hard to get back into the habit of updating not only this blog, but my personal blog as well (I'll probably link to that in these posts too). I'm also considering starting a picture blog, or most likely just integrating that into my current personal and sparkpeople blogs. I want to post a picture a day, or at least just *take* a picture a day so I can upload and blog about them later.

I think I have lots of material to post about: personal milestones, interesting books I've read, some cool stuff I've recently done or discovered, and going low-carb. For now, my small goal will be to post at least once a week. If that goes well, I'll slowly up my weekly postings until I'm about 3-4 posts per week. I think that will be fun when I get in the habit of it.

For now though, here's a picture of tonight's dinner!

It's been kinda busy the last few days, so I opted for take-out from my favorite restaurant--a sushi place that opened about a year ago not far from our house. This is the sashimi deluxe dinner. It includes 19 pieces of sashimi, a small side salad with ginger dressing, a big steamy bowl of miso soup, and a bowl of rice (I think sushi rice). I was pretty hungry tonight, so I surprised myself by eating the whole thing -- well, except the rice, which I left for husband. And except for a piece of sashimi that kitty talked me into giving him. ;)

(He really loves photo-bombing my food pictures, doesn't he?)
