Lots going on right now!!

Monday, May 07, 2007

So there is a lot going on and it is getting hairy trying to keep up with it all! So lets take it apart day by day:

Last week: daughter comes home from college the same time SIL returns from 6 moths in Kuwait. Welcome home party cancelled due to SIL’s hunny (my hunnys brother) getting sick with pneumonia!! (Wonderful welcome home treat for SIL!!)

This week: start training remaining team members on how to fill in my job (suckers!!), son has 1 day in-school suspension that he refuses to serve so it will be upgraded to out-of school suspension. His crime? Horsing around in class! Come on, he is a 10 grader. He knows better!! In between overtime, find time to get caught up on laundry (son does his own! I just do mine and my hunnys!), and squeeze in workouts. And definitely on the way home today, stop by CVS and switch out the generic heart meds they gave me yesterday for the real stuff. Come on!! Who told them I wanted generic heart meds?!?! Why not take generic birth control pills? Then I could have 2 disasters on my hands!!

Next week: my dad is bringing out to America my cousin and his wife. He is retired semi pro European soccer player who later settled to work in the coal mines and his wife is a retired nurse. They will be here for 4 weeks but they will be spending the bulk of their time in Florida. Now I am trying to convince my dad to take them to the air show at Andrews AFB their first weekend here instead of a picnic. Where else are they going to see an F22 and F117 under friendly circumstances?! (JK!! Tho the way things seem to be going lately, I might not be! UGH!)

So that is my busy schedule these next few weeks! And I better stay on my nutrition and fitness plans because I am so ready to lose the weight!!
