Using my bounty

Today I made an apple pie for DH with my Granny Smith apples from the bountiful baskets. I also used Leeks for the first time in a potato soup. It was very good.

I'm looking forward to next weeks veggies and fruits.

Soup sounds good. I love potato soup. I am not a big fan of pies so I make apple cake instead. Made one a couple weeks ago, we ate a piece and I sent the rest to the pool room guys!

Sound great. We live in an area that doesn't have bountiful baskets but my daughter and granddaughter take advantage of the offers. I am glad you are using all your stuff.

Potato leek soup is one of my favorites. Unfortunately it is a bit higher calorie than broth based soups but it is delicious!
