Life in the Fast Lane Part II

What an exciting time! Busy, busy, busy but loving every minute of it! I spent the weekend boxing up stuff, thinning out things, donating, and purging. I still have a lot to go but things are coming together. We will have a yard sale/garage sale next Saturday and sell off some of our furniture. We need to lessen the amount of stuff we move to Oregon.
Last week we gave our mare away to a little eight year old girl who had the biggest smile on her face. No regrets here. I am so pleased she will be spoiled rotten and riden alot. However, her being gone has made Lammie somewhat depressed. The mare spent a lot of time hanging out with Lammie near her pen. I need to find a good home for Lammie next.
I submitted an application for an apartment last week so hopefully I will hear back from them soon. Also, found a boarding stables not too far from the apartment as I have decided that I cannot part with my "oldest child" DJ, my horse. I have had him since he was 2 and he is 24 now. I look forward to riding him into his 30s. Being in better climate should allow for more riding too.
