I am logging my food and that is making me more aware of what I am eating. Today while I was waiting for DH during his PT, I was reading Prevention and they were talking about a different diet approach where you do a modified fast every other day-limiting oneself to 500 calories every other day. I don't know that I could do that long term but it might be something to do to jump start the weight loss again. Normal weight loss doing this is approximately 2 lbs a week but it has been shown to help stabilize blood sugar and reduce things like cholesterol and triglycerides and help with the inflammation in one's body. I want to do a little more research but.....thinking it would be worth a try for a week at least!
