New chairs, our edging and a little this & that

Back this winter we decided to take a 2nd sofa out of our family room and to add chairs to the living room and 1 chair to the family room. Of course the fabric I chose was not in stock so we had to wait about 6 weeks to get them but this is the final result.
that is the living room recliners
This is the barrel chair in the family room.
The pillows were made by our friend Barb. Abbie is on the one in the barrel chair and she did one of DH & I which is in one of the recliners. They were a surprise gift!
This is what our back yard looked like with the rotting landscape timbers.
This is what it looks like with the new concrete edging
We have a small rock garden on the hillside so we took out the concrete blocks holding in the rocks and had edging poured there also.
This is 2 of the workers installing the edging. One man mixes up the concrete, one is bringing the wheel barrels with the concrete to the other 2 and one shovels it into the machine which the 4th worker is manning to form the edging . Once it is in place, two guys come along and smooth it out and do the imprint on the wet concrete. They work like a well oiled machine-took them about an hour to take out the old landscape timber and do all the work.
I was tired of losing things in my pantry which is quite deep so I pulled everything and I mean everything out and had pull out shelves made to make it easier to reach those items in the back. I love them!
While we doing that, we also did my pan cupboard and that makes it so much easier for me to get to my pots and pans. I have to confess before this, I pretty much threw them in and hoped they would stay. Now they stay nice and neat!!!!
