My mother-in-law

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Good morning,

We got a call a few minutes ago from the caregiver for Davids' mother. She thinks mama
has had a stroke, perhaps a light one, but another stroke, nonetheless. She is waiting on
the Hospice nurse to arrive, she is the one who will call for an ambulance if she believes
it necessary to send her to the hospital.

The caregiver held the phone to his mama's mouth and she kept saying over and over, I
love you to me, so I handed the phone to David and he spoke to her and she said I love
you to him, so we are right now at a status quo.......this may be difficult to deal with, because
of the issues with his sister.

The caregiver is not supposed to call us if anything is wrong and we have not heard from
miss crazy either. So apparently she does not want us to know anything about mama's
condition. Some of you know how his sister has treated us, some of you don't. She is
a former drug addict/alcoholic and is vicious when crossed. So we have avoided her for

I am just praying for peace for his mother. She has been bedfast for about 3 years, due to
his sister taking her out of a rehab facility and putting her in bed and refusing to get her up
to exercise her legs, so she finally cannot sit up nor use her legs at all.

If you would say a prayer for her, we would appreciate it. This is painful and with Davids'
own health issues, he needs prayer also.
