Grocery Shopping Early to Follow Through on my Meal Plan

DH and I went shopping yesterday after I taught my 75 minute yoga class. It was no surprise and to my delight that a young couple from Wakarusa returned to my class after they were in my thoughts and conversation this past week. I love it when this happens, you know, like when someone comes into your awareness and you hear from them or "run into" them.
DH and I found an "I Love You" book to record and a ballerina fairy dress complete with wings and wand for our granddaughter who is celebrating her 4th birthday today.
We stopped in at Alladin's, a mediterranean restaurant for a mid-afternoon lunch yesterday. The waitress recommended hot sauce in homemade vegetable soup served with feta cheese on top. I tried it with a little hot sauce (afterall I'm a Spicy Sparkologist this BLC 32 round, right?) after eating most of the nutrient dense soup and liked it. With this kapha dosha, I need the hot spices such as turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, et cetera to "kick up" my metabolic burner.
We left early this morning to buy the groceries I need to follow through with the biometric food plan that was supplied by the fitness club that I work for. I wanted to be prepared for this coming week before traveling to Fort Wayne (a 2 hour drive each way) this afternoon for the birthday party.
It is my intention to climb out of the truck and walk and stretch my legs when DH makes his frequent stops along the way to have a smoke. He doesn't smoke in our trucks nor in our home, and for that I am thankful, but oh, as a non-smoker how I wish he could give up his tobacco habit/addiction!!!!
