Long Time, No See!

I've been totally underwater since we returned from walking The Camino. I didn't know that I could be "sustained busy" -- I'm still working 50 - 70 hpw. I have this fantasy that I can catch up...
Weight-wise, I've put on a few pounds, but my clothes fit well. I haven't been able to do much walking, between work and the lousy weather, but Daylight Savings just happened, which opens up more possibilities.
I've been feeling "wrong" for months, and decided that I'd better have my thyroid and vitamin D checked, rather than to blame it all on The Election. I don't think that thinning hair is due to politics. Found our that my thyroid is low again, and that my D is reeeeeaaaly low again, so I'm on my way back "up" (this is all new. I finally made myself go to the doctor. I was feeling really lousy, and, for once, put myself first). My doctor told me not to stress about my weight -- it's ok (but not OK in my head, thank you. I am still 10 pounds over my goal weight that I achieved when my son got married 2 years ago).
I've been working from home since yesterday, due to PDT treatment for precancerous skin lesions, and have gotten a lot of stuff done. Amazing what I can accomplish when no one bugs me.
The kids are fine. My son, who is the best son on earth, is (finally) working as an environmental scientist for the State. His wife is back at the Capitol, and is a legislative director for a senator. They are very happy.
My daughter has been preparing to apply for a teaching credential program. She is very excited, and has her interview for the program tomorrow.
And they will all be here this weekend.
Thanks for hanging in with me, even when I'm off the radar -- xoxoxo
