Staying on track

Tuesday, May 09, 2017

I start out with every intention of doing everything that I am supposed to do to lose weight and get healthy. I do well for the first couple weeks but have a hard time staying on track. I don't know why that's the point that I let go instead of working through the rough spot. It's almost like I feel I have to be perfect which will never happen. I need to find a way to stay strong during the weak times and stay focused. Part of the reason I do this is my body limitations. I have sciatica issues and also have an umbilical hernia which the doctors say they will not operate on. They also tell me to not do a lot of abdominal exercises as they feel it may cause more damage. I think I was always worried about what could happen. Little did I realize the progress I was already making without any problems. I think it's time to push myself a little more. I bet I can do more than I think I can.
